SMaSH beer made with Golden Promise malt and Southern Passion hops.
I had a stuck fermentation so I swirled the fermenter to rouse the yeast, maybe 0.5 packet of US-05 isn't enough to get the job done on its own. Because fermentation took a bit longer, I did add another 0.75 oz (beyond what recipe calls for) of Southern Passion a few days before packaging because it had been about 10 days since the last dry hop and I wanted to make sure I was getting the full effect of this hop variety.
Ended up with a very drinkable beer, definitely hop-forward and maybe a little too much so (but it is a SMaSH beer so not a surprise with a simple grain bill). The Southern Passion tasted pretty much as described, with tropical fruit notes being prominent, with some light citrus notes detectable as well.
