Bazooka got clogged, so filling the FV was slow. Next time use a hop spider or bags. Definitely use bags for dry hop. |

Vigorous fermentation finished. Died down now. Had to use a blow off tube rather than the airlock as it was so active the airlock liquid kept getting pushed out. |

Only just over 14 litres. Lots of trub left in bottom of FV as usual. Hops again took up a lot of liquid.
Next time I need to adjust recipe to account for this. Maybe liquor back if FV volume not enough.
This time I used a mesh bag from Sainsbury's for the dry hop but it let a lot of detritus through still. Maybe it's not fine enough. |

Clearing up nicely in the bottle. Absolutely superb. Hops come through on the nose. Fruity initial taste, with great body and depth. Small amount of bitterness on back end. Strong. |
