Notes

2 lbs Golden Promise malt was toasted for 28 minutes at 350. Lovibond should be between 30 and 50.

1 baking sheet was used with less than a pound on it - this darkened up more than the aluminum sheet.

1 aluminum sheet (pan) was used with more than 1 lb in the sheet - this did not darken as much.

Some of the grains were black while most were golden to brown. Smelled sort of like burned popcorn coming out of the oven. 3/21/2020
