no LME in wort yet, adding 1.7L at 10 mins. Added about 4 litres of sparge water then brought up to 15L in kettle. LIMIT IS 15L AS KETTLE WAS ON VERGE OF BOILING OVER !!!!! |

Put in 500ml of coffee at start of primary, not 250ml. Forgot to take gravity readings at various stages, DUH!!! |

still seems to be bubbling very slightly, hoping to bottle in 3 days time.seems to be a lot of trub this time. tastes good so seems to be going well |

Very pleased with my first stout, slightly sweeter than I wanted but a pleasant drink. Will add a touch stronger coffee next time and maybe some soured stout for that Guinness tang |
