Created a 1 liter yeast starter with some 2nd Gen London Ale 1028. Will pitch .5 liter and save .5 later for next time. |

Recirc mash went smooth. Wort was clear and conversion was great before lifting the malt pipe. |

Boil went great. Did a recirc during last 10 min and ran through the hop mesh filter to clean up the trub. |

Brew day went OK. Did a 90 min mash instead of the 60 min due to the lower DP. Wort was only 1.041 pre boil until I did a recirc while the malt pipe was up. There should be a better way to remove the malt pipe when mash is complete. |

Left it fermenting in primary while we were on vacation at room temp which was 55. Looks like there was still a little bit of activity and it taste like there may be some diacityl in there. Also there was a good amount of co2 in solution still, as if it was partially carbonated. Gonna let it sit at room temp, 68, for a couple more days then test again. |

Left fermenting for a week just to confirm it was done. Based on FG, looks like it was already done. Temp change probably caused the additional airlock activity I saw. |

Transferred to serving keg. Did not cold crash as it was sitting for about 3-4 weeks. Will add gelatin after I cools in the keggerator. |
