brewed this as a one gallon kit in 2013. this 5 gallon recipe was taken from brooklyn brew shops beer making book. basically no modifications (their recipe lines up with my efficiency to equal the posted abv). a little worried about reduction of the body because of the maple syrup which from my memory does not add much in taste. but, this is a "RB Classic" so we'll do it as is. if you want to make a regular porter, use a different recipe!
