Good flavour from the wort. Roasty and a bit bitter. Not really black, just dark brown |

Fermentation hasnt started @19hrs, fridge ws slightly open and temp was low, incresed temp to 19 degrees and made sure fridge is shut |

Smells good. Tasted quite sweet and not much roastyness. Dry aftertaste. Dark but not black, slightly red/brown |

Sweetness has faded a bit and roastyness has became more pronounced. Overall tasting a lot better. Started to cold crash |

Boiled 50g cocoa powder in 0.5L water and added to keg, racked beer on top. Carbed at 40psi and shook keg. Dropped pressure to 10 psi. Tasting quite nice, slight hints of chocolate, could have maybe added another 25g. Colour is still brown and not black. |

Tastes okay. Lost all head retention probably because of the cocoa, maybe use cacao nibs instead. Easy drinker but needs a bit more creamyness , more head retention and darker colour |
