Notes

This recipe was adjusted from the original grain bill due to inventory. Original recipe: 37% PIls 37% Vienna 13% C20 13% Dark Munich. I chose to replace the missing quantity of Vienna with Light Munich and an extra pound of Pils malt. The missing C20 was replaced with 1 pound of C40 and an extra pound of dark munich to make up the color difference.

A couple gallons will be drawn off with 20 minutes remaining and boiled separately with 6 lbs of fresh roasted and pureed pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices for a pumpkin lager. It will then be added to the main kettle after 5.5 gallons has been run off.

Spicing is 5 tsp Saigon cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp ginger, added with 5 mins left in the boil. 3 tsp vanilla extract in the keg.
