WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

The actual OG was 1.045, FG ended up 1.016
Colour slightly darker than the SRM indicator above
We really loved this porter - sweet and velvety, nice coffee and chocolate flavours.
Served on draught, great head retention and looked just like Guinness as it was settling.
Compared it to a can of Guinness draughtflow and there was no comparison - Guinness tasted thin and chemically, the London Porter delicious. I'll be doing this recipe again.
