Notes

Built to brew in an Arsegan 50L brew kettle.
1kg of peeled, roasted sweet potato was 1.4kg when fresh.
Sweet potatoes roasted in oven, wrapped in foil, for hours until soft. Can be frozen after roasting for use later.
To mash, purée the sweet potato with a portion of the mash water and a hand blender.

Picture4: Kettle during the mash.
The sparge was the slowest I ever had. Roughly 2 hours with stirring.
Final smell and taste of the wort was delicious! Not yet bottled.
