Mashed in 26lt 61c didnt have timer on but for atleast 30-40min I found temp had dropped to 59c at end of first rest. Stepped to 67.5 for another 20. |

Long brew day but lovely wort. Into fermentor at 24c shook and pitched 2lt starter then. Set at 13c
Used 2lt of wort for starter wort hence low efficiency. |

Took two day for fermentation to start had to reshake fermentor to get it going
Fermentation pretty much done. Air lock still bubbling took fermentor out of chamber today a put in garage. |

Keg kicked.
Was a good beer roast really mellowed at end. Nice smooth rounded malt profile. Bit low on bitterness maybe raise 8t 5-10 if brewing again. Would like a more creamy mouthfeel so some wheat or unmalted barley may be an ideah at 3% next time. |
