after sparge
split mash into ceramic and steel pots
3qts each @ 160 f when grains go in
155 f mash for 60 min
add 1 cup of microwaved water @ 35 min to get to 151 f
ended 60 min @ 149 f
sparged into 4.75 gal @ 160 f for 15 min

Tasted during bottling:
tasted very chocolatey, with good roast flavor.
Body felt light and was a dark, clear amberish brown color |

smells: faint overall, but very strong sweet smoked smell
- tastes: sweet smoked bacon mixed with dry-chocolate upfront, very heavy malt-flavor and roasted bitter/dry back end
-also somewhat undercarbonated |
