Mashed in at 64.5c went to brew store in meantime and got gas so time was prob and hour. Raised mash to 71c for half hour. |

Sparged 75c into black pot. Sparge was slow fine crush and was a doe Bally mash. Squeezed gently. Wort smelt good nice and grainy.
Added 13 mag FWH |

Boil went well some big boil ups on hop additions. 20 sazz @ 15 and 30 sazz @ 5 min.

Chilled down pretty quick hit 30c. Fermenting this one in cube. Wort volume looks big can't tell no marks.

sitting at 20c today pretty much finnished will leave another three days out of chamber then crash transfer on weekend and condition untill brew comp. |

nice golden lager. good head retention quite dextrinous with nice lacing on glass. well carbed. good bitterness seems in ballence with malt if not a little low except if you gulp it. its got some proteine haze not sure if geletin worked or it would be from late additions of sazz. but its got a good long linguring malt flavour that lasts for some time. a good drop and will condition nicely a few more weeks in. |

Scored 27 in brew comp. Has cleared up now. A little sweet not crisp enough mybe not enough attenuation or need lower mash temp. Sazz aroma muted maybe dry hop sazz? |

Keg kicked on weekend this wasn't my best Pilsner. I noticed it wasn't as crisp as usual I think from low water adjustments like gypsum. Also may need to lower mash temp... Was a good beer just not great. |
