After mashing in, temperature was too low, 57°. Left to sit for 30 minutes while more water was heating up. Then started HERMS, mash temperature now rising. |

Transferred from primary to secondary, same fridges.
Amazing difference in both aspect and taste between the two yeasts - Lallemand London ESB is cloudy, the yeast cake lumpy and not solid and tastes sweet. Safale S04 is almost perfectly clear, really solid yeast cake, and tastes beery, although rather weak still. |
