Mash was around 152 to start (not 157) and ended at around 140-142 (90 min). Dialed down the vigor of boil ,- but ended up around 5 gal. Next time reduce slightly. Used 8.68 gal not the 7.5 in the steps (not sure why different from water requirements). Thought wort was at pitching Temp but it wasn't stirred enough and was closer to 100. Took from 330-530 to cool down to about 76 to pitch. |
