Whirlpooled 30mins temp was quite low wort didn't smell too hoppy going into fermentor.
Not much break wort was turbid.
Took a long time to chill down. |

Not good :( have left in keg too see if it gets more drinkable...
Aroma is nice and hoppy nothing wrong there.
Head is good.
Colour orange haze nice.
Mouthfeel is good nice and full.
Flavour nice malt flavour and hop a bit subdued compared to the amount used. But there is a peppery prickly astringent finish that makes you not want more.
There is also a citrus peel flavour that's not too bad either.
But I'm thinking it's the yeast is infected.
Will dump this batch. |
