Grain absorption losses (steeping) -0.75 -3
Mash Lauter Tun losses -0.25 -1
Volume increase from sugar/extract (early additions) 0.51 2
Pre boil volume (equipment estimates 7.65 g | 30.6 qt) 3 12
Boil off losses -1.5 -6
Hops absorption losses (first wort, boil, aroma) -0.15 -0.6
Post boil volume 6 24

WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Full Bodied, mostly English style ale, with a moderate hop bitterness. Dark red in colour, the heavy maltiness is balanced by the soft bitterness of the Target hops, with a noticeable citrus flavor from the cascade hops on the finish. Quite alcoholic (my actual abv was 6.3%) so it gets the job done.
