Vanilla version could use more vanilla flavor. Would like more caramel & maybe a bit less roast. Could finish a few points higher. Drinks like a porter, I think would be better as a brown. Like the coffee malt. Thinking 1.045 OG, 1.018 FG, increase coffee malt by an ounce, cut other roast malt, increase crystal by 4 oz (maybe use English C-80ish in addition to Extra Dark), mash ~158ish |
