Very clean and quick mash, held +- 2F from 154F and got clear fast. Mashed for 60 minutes with recirculation. |

Sparged from the top of the freezer with a long hose. Made the sparging go quick and easy to maintain. Sparge water temp was 170F. Put my exact water measurements into the HLT and the MLT, not sure what went wrong with the volume control. Its possible that I was expecting more water to absorbed by the grain? |

I forgot to check on the ending kettle volume(!!!!), but everything about the boil went smoothly. Had a nice rolling boil. |

I didn't make marks on the speidel to take a volume reading, so I am not sure how much finished product I collect. 55F was the final temperature, pitched two packets of S-23 (rehydrated) and then put it in jess' fermentation fridge set to 50F. |
