MIER 6.0 IPA Aromatized Mier

600 Litres Mier

Malt Bill:

25 kg Munich malt type 2

75 kg Pilsener malt

15 kg Cara Red

10 Kg Melanoidin

5 kg Wheat light

Mash in at 56 °C 5 min rest

heat up to 63 °C 30 min rest

heat up to 72 °C 20 min rest

lautering up to 12,5 % extract

boiling 60 min

if boiling starts add 10 IBU bitterhops ( H.Herkules) and 6 kg META MATE

after 60 min add another 1 kg of smoked META MATE for the aroma

boil up to 13 % final gravitiy

ferment with bottom fermenting yeast ( VLB strain RH ) at 15 °C until fermentation stops.

store at lowest temp possible for at least 2 more weeks

dry hop with 1000 gr cascade hop pellets
