WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

I found this recipe online (http://beersmithrecipes.com/viewrecipe/189/cherry-vanilla-stout) originally. I modified it to fit what my home brew shop had. I also replaced the DME with LME and it worked great. Strong cherry aroma, subtle cherry flavor and the vanilla is not noticeable. A week in primary, two weeks in secondary, cold crashed a week, and keg conditioned for a week.
