Notes

Inspired by a brew Kit of a similar sounding name but how I think it should have tasted. Colour, taste and smell reminiscent of autumn/fall in the countryside; cobnut/hazelnuts, hint of wood smoke, deep red/brown, warmth of alcohol. One to share with friends sat together by the fire place, or even while cooking.
Great feedback received with this beer (2023), I would say cellar temp (8-13C/46-55F) to best appreciate the flavours, but whatever works for the drinker.
Changes for 2024 = more smoked malt , say 10% as 2% isn't noticeable as intended.
I did think the malt bill was too 'busy' but actually it all adds up and works well together.
