Target hydration of 1.075Qt/# yielded a concentration of 1.4442Qt/#. Started with 108gal in MLT before hydration at 7.0gpm with rakes in reverse at 20Htz for first 3min, then reducing to 5.9gpm and 8Htz forward for remainder of grist in. Used about 1/2 bag of rice hulls throughout mash in. Added minerals and lactic acid about halfway through mash in. At end of mash in, spun rakes for 2min back and forth, then again for 1min just before vorlauf. |

15min vorlauf at 13Htz yielded 1079. Targeted an RO speed of 6.5gpm to accomplish a less-than 2hr RO. 70% volume yielded 1059 with an RO of 1024, opting to run a slightly higher volume. Last RO was 1011. |

Used calandria for all but last 15min of boil to recover SG. Maltodextrin along with yeastex and whirlfloc were pitched at 10min of boil, pausing the boil timer until the boil recommenced. |
