HLT 175° MLT 160° Loss of ~15° from HLT to MLT. 55° Ambient.
Mashed in at 11:10a. Initial temp 153°, fell to 150° by 12:35p 85 min total mash time including vorlauf. |

Gelatin Fining
1/4 C filtered water, 1/2 tsp gelatin poured right on top. Nuked in 7 sec bursts, stirring with thermometer, until ~150° F.
Disconnected gas, released pressure, opened keg, poured into keg.
Resealed keg, bubbled co2 through diptube, purged, then purged the headspace a few times. |
