Imperial Pivo Grodziskie (or "Grodzwine", maybe?). Calling it "Super Grodz", or "Triple Grodz" because it's about triple strength to a normal Grodz, not necessarily because it's similar to a Belgian Tripel (though strength and color are similar). Guess it would be either Classic Style Smoked Beer, or Mixed Style Beer, if you had to categorize it (to enter a Comp).
Small batch, as first attempt at the style I just created. Might be terrible. May add 10% sugar next time if it needs it.
Aerate well, pitch appropriate amount of yeast for such a big beer. I'm using lager yeast because just harvested some from another beer, but could also use Kolsch or German Ale yeasts. Raise temp for a D-rest as fermentation slows. Lager for 2-4 months to let this one settle down (one of the reasons it's hopped to as many IBUs at it is... the hops will drop out while aging).
Notes: Had planned efficiency (no sparge) of about 67% and OG 1.092, but only got 57% and 1.072... so will be more like a Double Grodz than Triple... just calling it "Super Grodz" instead.
