Iteration #1 (no DDH). Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Color is translucent gold (srm 8) with a white fluffy head that quickly dissipated to a thin head. Very little to no lacing. Slight diatcetyl, has started to clean up. Well carbonated, can move to cellar temps. |

Iteration #1 (Hazy Bro) - Golden, translucent, adequate bubbling, (A) buttery, (T) Less buttery, more balanced sweet/dry than It.#2, (M) dry, effervescent, (B) thin to medium
Iteration #2 (Hazy Bro w/ Nectaron) = Golden, Hazy, opaque, (A) hoppy, melon, buttery, (T) bitter, not balanced, (M) effervescent, stings tongue, over carbonated, (B) medium |

It's getting better, still on the dry side but I'm starting to appreciate that more, not everything has to be sweet (this beer hit the OG/FG target for this style). I definitely get the hop aroma/flavor from the Nectaron over the version that is not DDH. Mouthfeel and any astringency is similar in both versions, so I wouldn't be afraid to hop at this rate in the future. |

These just didn't do it for me, they're drinkable but there's no real hop aroma/flavor. A little too much diacetyl. Gonna dump the remaining. |
