Cloudy, with a bit of a sweet aftertaste. Interesting. It doesn't taste "off". Perhaps this is how the recipe is supposed to taste. I'm not confident that the mini-mash converted all the starch, thus the haze, but the gravity sure kinda thinks it did! Is the sweet because of the invert sugar. Does it add that much flavor in a low hopped beer? That would be interesting as well, as most sugars I've used disappear in the final product.
Packaged in cubetainer with 3.1 grams of dextrose. We shall see how this turns out. If poorly, not much is on the line :) |
