Notes

Nov 23 brew notes:

  • Decided to place in wort bag, and choose yeast in the morning depending on whether ferm chamber is clear or not (US-05, Saflager or Voss Kveik).
  • mash temp went as low as 144f, jacked the heat once to bring up to 146f.
  • did a mini step mash, turned propane to high with 5min left in boil, mashed out close to 160f.
  • brew day about 2hrs5min. Will pitch tonight or tmrw.
  • OG: 1.048
  • pitched yeast on Nov 25 at 75f. Use Saflager 34/70. Put in basement in closet and set temp to 59f.
