Notes

Target 1.049 post boil. 1/2 gal grain loss, top off to 5 gal

1) Add 4.75 gal to pot with 4 g calcium chloride
2) Heat to 153F, add steeping grains, steep for 1 hour
3) Remove grains, add Liquid Malt Extract, mix well and get to 203F(boiling)
4) At beginning of boil add nugget hops(see hop amounts)
5) At 10 mins to go add willamete hops and irish moss
6) Last 5 mins add East Kent goldings
7) Sanitize fermenter, chill wort in ice bath
8) Add wort to ferm bucket, pitch yeast (US-05)
9) Shake Ferm bucket for 30 seconds.
10) Install Air lock w/ Sanitizer
11) Ferment at 65F until air lock activity is gone (~10 days)
12) Rack to bottles with 1 carb drop each
13) Condition bottles at 65F for 1 week.
14) Chill beer and enjoy!
