Several measurements gave gravities between 1.039 and 1.042. A thoroughly cooled hydrometer sample settled at 1.040+, so decided to use 1.040 after reviewing a couple different zoomed photos. |

Sample looks and smells good, but I am unsure, having never brewed a lager before. Decided to put a heating pad on the fermenter for a little while to see if a few more points could be fermented out. |
