The OG is a estimate. Boiled for a total of ~4h.
Boiloff didn't worked as planned so a lot less sugar in the final mix.
It completely spilled over on the first day of fermentation so we loose around 3-6l of worth again |

Hahaha somehow the gravity increased again, i think the fermentation is a bit stalled so i added a heating belt and set it to 19c |

Somehow this stalled pretty badly...
Tried increasing temperature using heating belts but this didn't work at all...
So now I guess it's finished, but who knows....
Will put this into kegs now and additionally adding Makers Mark Bourbon and Oak Cubes
When adding all 700ml of bourbon to the appx. 36l of beer then it should be at a final Alcohol of around 11.5%
Sadly a huge part of the bucketwater was sucked into the fermentor... Still put the beer in Kegs but only ~31l (18l + 13.5l)
The full amount of 700ml Bourbon was still added, while the 18l keg has around 400ml and the 13.5l keg has around 300ml
Both kegs also got 100 grams of Bourbon Oak Cubes! This means, the 13.5l keg will get ready much much faster!! |
