Racked into a purged keg. Made 5 gal of sanitizer in keg. Pushed sanitizer into bucket using CO2 from keg and through disconnected party tap. This served to sanitze that hose as well. While it was in the warm sanitizer, I connected it to the racking cane for the auto-siphon. Siphoned beer into keg via liquid post with the PRV open to allow CO2 to escape.
After kegged, I put small amount of pressure on it to send it through the faucet to get gravity/taste sample.
Flavor was really nice. Malty and balanced. Not seeing a ton or red color coming through, but nice amber color.
Pressurized the keg at 30psi. Hoping to have it carbonated by Monday for brew day. |
