PUT 5L TO MUCH INTO THE SPARGE WATER !!! Idiot.
Took 7l out and boiled separately for 2 hrs. Extended the boil in the kettle to 2 hrs to try and make up for it. |

Combined the two boils after 1.5hrs. Vigorous boiling meant the volume has dropped to just over 19l in the kettle. |

Despite the cockup SG is right on the target albeit with 2l less in the fermenter but that is not such a big deal. Interesting to see if the extra boil time has formed caramelised notes. |
