Mash tun didn't drain so I had to pour the mash into a bag, rinse and squeeze. Wanted a mash temp of 150 and undershot by two degrees so make note for next time to go two degrees hotter, and line the mash tun with a brew bag to prevent the stuck runoff. Ph was super low at 4.6. Next time don't do an acid addition to the brewing water before checking after mash in. I can always add acid to the mash. |

Wow I'm really far below my expected gravity. Can only assume the low temps and problem with mash was the issue. We'll see how this ends up - light and sour I imagine... :/ |

I packaged this entire batch into bottles I could not cap and poured the whole batch out. The sample tasted ok, but I'm too frustrated right now to even care and reconsidering getting back in to this hobby... :/ |
