Wow, both the vanilla and oak cube samples tasting great. I thought i may have overdone them both by leaving them for around 9 days but if anything I'm going to leave them longer, maybe a month or so. |

Well. I have now bottled 15 bottles of the oak soaked specimen and 15 bottles of the vanilla specimen.
Both tasted amazing. My personal preference was the oak aged cubes addition. I am so very eager to see how these turn out after some conditioning in the bottle. I am aware that both flavours might/will disappear over time but if you don't try these things you'll never know! |

I took some of this round to a friends and it went down very nicely.
I must admit I am finding it quite dry to say it had an FG of 1.018°. Maybe I need to check it again.
The vanilla and oak version are amazing but are taking an age to carbonate. Its hard keeping my hands off them! Next time more vanilla and more oak. |

Sadly only 3-4 568ml bottles of this left. I do still have a fair few 330ml vanilla and oak ones left but they are well under carbonated. I am currently trying an experiment out by putting one of them in the boiler cupboard to see if this will produce a little more carbonation.
The garage is freezing at the moment so this wont be helping. Come back summer all is forgiven! |

The warming up helped so I have put the rest of these in the kitchen to warm up and hopefully condition a little more |

All the plain version of this gone now
Oak cube on is by far the best and has a longer lasting flavour
The vanilla has all but disappeared, not sure I would do this again, oak cubes on the other hand..... |
