Notes

Pre-fermentation, this beer tastes like tree-led herbal notes meets caramel and toffee. I'm impressed with how the base recipe is so very biere de garde while the belgian yeast give it a little extra phenolic note. The hops obscured any fruitiness from the yeast that I suspect will show up more with Co2.
