Darker, sweeter, and roastier than I was hoping for. It's halfway in between a Marzen and a Dunkel, or possibly a Maibock. SRM is probably closer to 17 or 18, rather than 12.
Next time, back off the brown malt and crystal malts by half, at least. Maybe take the Crystal out altogether. |
