WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Concluded that golden light DME would do the job just as good for this first test

Researched hops, and concluded that Tettnanger (Bittering) and Hallertau (Aroma and Flavour) seemed the best for the first test

Safale S-23 instead of Kolsch-specific yeast, could not find one. Pitching at room temperature.

According to John Palmer, guidelines are
1.044 - 1.050 OG
18 - 30 IBU
3.5 - 5 SRM
