Mash temp was a few degrees too low. I added too much water to mash out of a fear of things getting stuck, due to the presence of 4 pounds of flaked oats. Also ran out of propane with 20 minutes left in the boil. Lots of mistakes were made today, and the end result will be 6 gallons of watered down, low abv beer. Here's to hoping that its not too boring. |
