WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Flaked oats are in the fermentables section but are actually steeping grains. Will be able to steep as long as used with the chocolate malt and carapils.

Add brown sugar 15 minutes to FO.

2 beans, split in half, soaked in 8 oz bourbon at same time brew day. Liquid strained and added to secondary.
USE GRADE B OR HIGHER BOURBON VANILLA
Use water killed vanilla, not sun killed (mexican vanilla)

Cacao nibs in secondary.

2 sticks cinnamon to secondary (use the good cinnamon)

Primary 10 days to 14 days
Secondary 14 days
Bottle and age 4 weeks. Best around 3 months?
