Deep dark with ruby edges in the light.
Pours a tight slight off creamy head.
Aroma chocolate roast caramel malt .
Flavour medium full body restraint bitterness but with a roasty lingering finish not as sweet as it smells.
Not bad I think I won't use this eclipse wheat I like midnight wheat better than Gladfield in this I think.
Maybe a touch too roasty probably better to keep the dark malt at mash out. But it is.a great beer I like it as is I think this recipe is solid a repeatable brew I like maltiness bitterness is low but I wouldn't want it any more I think the roast brings some bitterness but it's def clean. |
