Pasteurized apple juice. No boil.
Brewed 9/2/21. Very simple. Fermented at 77F. There is a slight sulfur note in the aroma. It is dissipating over time.
Otherwise this is a nice refreshing drink. I'm not a cider aficionado so won't comment on whether it is a good cider.
Color is much lighter than predicted 6.2 SRM - more like 2.0.
Actual FG was 1.004.
Added comment 2/27/2022: I've made a couple more batches of this since 9/2/21. Basically same recipe for 2.5 gallon keg. Have not noticed sulfur note in those. I add a stick of cinnamon and half dozen cloves to the keg. FG has been closer to 1.001. Have compared to several commercial hard ciders and I like mine best. Love having this on hand for a nice refreshing drink.
