Sparge started at 12:10 with sparge water temperature at 83°C, raising top of grain bed temperature to between 75°C - 78°C across the bed by 12:18. Sparge water temperature slowly reduced to 77°C. Top of grain bed final temperature between 71°C - 72°C across the bed. |

Flameout at 14:35, chiller stopped at 14:39 for 10min hop stand at 80°C, chiller restarted at 14:52 with temp. at 72°C, chiller stopped at 15:17 with wort at 23°C. |

21L collected through draining by gravity. Further 3L collected through scraping the bazooka filter with a sanitised paddle. 1no. 11g packet of dried yeast pitched to the fermenter and then mixed for 60sec (yeast was not hydrated as per packet instructions and was pitched dry, direct from the packet). |
