Notes

This is a beer that’s as cosy as a pair of merino socks and a log fire. English Dark mild is a style of beer that fits into a pocket of beers that have Malty sweetness, hop aromatics and flavours and sessionability!

This little Ale may look complex in terms of grain but trust us! This is a very simple beer to brew. The grain bill is built around a healthy base of Maris otter with sprinklings of chocolate, brown and crystal malt all adding body and grainy sweetness. Beautiful resinous fuggle hops are used willingly to give a spicy bitterness and floral aromas. All this is rounded out with the ever reliable S-04 Dry English Ale yeast.

We could happily sit back with mates and drain pint after pint around a cosy camp fire telling stories.
