Tilt was reading 1.053 until I swirled it then it consistently read 1.063?? Recalibrated back to 1.053 but we'll see...

Krausen got pretty high (~3 or 4 inches) then had started to go down a little bit. Gravity was leveling out around 1.022. So I decided to up the temperature to 21 or 22C. |

On Thursday and/or Friday sometime I came down and swirled the beer, putting a lot of yeast from the krausen back into suspension.
Saturday (10/3) morning came down to check and the beer had re-krasened and pushed the top off of the big mouth bubbler. A significant amount of yeast had poured out. Put the fermentor in the sink and rinsed it off, wiped the inside neck, and cleaned and sanitized the lid and airlock. Put it back in ferm fridge (after cleaning out the yeast). Checked on it later in the day and the krausen was rising up to the neck again! Put on a blowoff tube over night just in case, but luckily it didn't come out again. |

Top of beer had thin layer of krausen still present. Transferred from underneath. Gravity sample was delicious, I got extra just to drink some. Nice English yeasty-ness and very much like 1318. Still a little hazy in the glass with a bit of yeast sweetness, but not a ton. Should get very good as it clears. |

Rinsed and sanitized Keg 3 (previously Low Grav Pale Ale). Replaced StarSan in line with beer, purged keg x5 at 40 psi, left for 24 hours at ~44 psi. Maybe a little overcarbed so unhooked gas and let out a little pressure. Same tasting notes as last entry. |
