I am a beginning brewer who discovered the hobby by receiving a Mr. Beer kit from my sister for Christmas 2015. After brewing 2 super simple batches with the Mr. Beer kits, I recently upgraded to a full kit I purchased from my friends at Eagle Rock Home Brew Supply. I am on my second batch with the kit using all extract recipes, and am looking forward to exploring more advanced techniques.
I currently have 4 beers in all stages of brew. Alhambra Ale, and WeHo Wheat were made with the Mr. Beer kit. My first full kit batch is a Honey Ale inspired by our Presidential brew at WhiteHouse.gov. And I have just began primary fermentation on base strawberry blonde from here that I hope to craft into my own.
