Started out all grain in 2012 - because love. Grew to love hoppy beers on a 2007 trip to San Diego for a wedding, and those responsible for that shall remain anonymous. I have two engineering degrees and had I known about brewing back then I would have gotten into it sooner rather than now. I would like to make a career of it. For the most part I batch sparge, though I've done a step mash here and there with a pot inside a kettle of water. Learning as I go, more knowledge than experience; often found paralyzed from all my analyses.
For right now I am dialing in IPA's, which are my favorite ever. But I want to be able to brew anything and everything.
