Switched from extract brewing to BIAB a couple of years ago. Brew maybe 10 times a year or so. Brew on my gas range, with a 82 quart Bayou Classic brew pot. I line the removable basket with a nylon bag, and have added one inch standoffs to the bottom of the basket to keep the bag off the bottom of the pot. I use a couple of steel bolts to help in jacking up the basket to drain the bag prior to pulling it. I have my own grain mill which I have set for a very fine crush. I get more traube this way but it is the only way I have found to get my brewhouse efficiency into the 75% range. I have 2 Cornie Kegs in an old fridge for draft storage, and still bottle some special beers for longer term consumption. Also brew mead, and make wine from wine kits.
Mostly I brew beers from the Brewing Classic Styles book, a few from Charlie Papazians books, and lately, I have been trying clones of beers that my wife and I like.
