Having given a few Mr. Beer's a go, I've finally stepped up to proper extract brewing this year. Still using my two LBKs for small batches of experimental things, and a larger 8 gallon primary for full size batch following a by-the-book recipe.
Bottle conditioning: Czech "Grand Bohemian" (Mr. Beer kit) + 2 oz Saaz dry hopping on day 7.
Fermenting: "Tablehops" Imperial IPA. 4.75 gallons. OG 1.077 Expected FG 1.018, 115 IBUs, 11.39 SRM
Fermenting: Franklin Spruced Stout. OG 1.074 Expected FG 1.021, 44.63 IBUs? (no calculation for spruce tips), 39.02 SRM.
