Currently my brewing is a throw back in time... The meade i have is just water, honey, and the remains of boiled raisins. This is a one year brew.
The other one i am waiting on is a sour apricot....
2 lb turkish dried apricot's
4 gal water
5 lb granulated sugar
2 cups cornmeal
1 tablespoon ginger
2 cakes of yeast (today's yeast will destroy the brew, use a fruit yeast! I like white lab)
Put it all in a wide mouth and shake it into submission.... be patient, my brew is far from done at this point, it has also been sitting for a month. When you give it a taste it should be vary sour (Like a Warhead) with a big kick!!! 15.9 S.G
All of the beers i do are full grain. I have to many to name off right now.
